For the Love of Skype

     Recently, my family and I have gone through some really hard times. We are a very tight-knit family, and so being a part while these things are happening makes it very difficult. I have tried to go home the past few weekends, but there was always something preventing me from actually being able to go home. This is where Skype has come and saved the day!

     One night, I was on the phone talking to my mom and she was saying that she really wished I  could come home that way she could just see me. I then told her that we should Skype and see if that was any better than simply talking on the phone. It definitely was, I'm not sure why but there is definitely something about just being able to actually see the person as you talk to them and to not just hear their voice. Since then, I have Skyped my sisters and brother, along with my boyfriend. I love that it allows you to feel more connected to your loved ones, even from a far distance.
